Players
- Treat teammates, opponents, officials, and staff with respect. Compete fairly and follow the rules and safety instructions.
- Speak up about injuries, feeling unwell, bullying, or unsafe behavior. Do not pressure another athlete to keep playing while hurt.
- Do not haze, threaten, harass, discriminate, fight, or retaliate against someone who asks for help.
- Care for the facilities and equipment and stay within the agreed supervision and pickup arrangements.
Parents, guardians, and spectators
- Encourage effort and sportsmanship. Keep sideline comments respectful; do not confront children or officials.
- Follow venue rules and keep playing areas and emergency exits clear.
- Raise disputes with the program leader calmly, away from athletes and active play.
- Respect other families’ privacy. Do not post identifying information about another child without appropriate permission.
Coaches, staff, and volunteers
- Put athlete welfare ahead of results and respect physical and personal boundaries.
- Keep communications involving minors transparent and include their parent or guardian.
- Follow applicable reporting duties, program supervision procedures, and medical-clearance requirements.
- Do not request secret contact, inappropriate photos, or unapproved private meetings or transportation.
Raise a concern
Use the safety and reporting contacts for misconduct or child-protection concerns. Call 911 for immediate danger. A program complaint does not replace reporting to the relevant authorities.
Questions about a specific program’s conduct procedures or participation decisions can be directed to Splash Bay. Program agreements and venue rules may contain additional requirements.
